Westminster Abbey
I've been writing up.minutes of a Trustees Board meeting from a month ago today, along with accompanying an engineer sorting out a problem with our still under guarantee new gas hob, and picking up Jen's latest batch of contact lenses from the opticians. And further excitement was had from scraping and bagging up moss from the patio paving at the side of the house. So I've resorted to a backblip from yesterday's trip to London. A familiar sight, I know, but Westminster Abbey is such an historic building dating back to the 13th century (its predecessor Abbey was consecrated in 1065 and was where William the Conqueror was crowned King of England a year later) and dominating one side of Parliament Square. It looked radiant in the afternoon sun.
