Picked up the hire car then headed off in a north-westerly direction. Got to D & P's house in Glenfinnan without too much bother, although the pass through Glencoe was a bit hazardous, some vehicles trying to pull into already full parking areas while others were emerging suddenly on to the roadway. In Glenfinnan the biggest hazard is pedestrians walking up and down, presumable hoping to find a shop (there isn't one) or a toilet (none of those either). Harry Potter has a lot to answer for.

Anyway D made a delicious meal and we had a lovely evening blethering and gazing out of the window at the view (the big thing in the blue distance is Ben Nevis, with its top obscured by cloud).
