Holiday flights

A fine morning and the blue sky was covered with aircraft trails. I counted ten different trails at the same time. I wonder where they were all heading.
By midday the blue skies had disappeared and we had a heavy cloud cover. It was distinctly cooler as we visited friends M&C for a pub lunch with them. In the pub I was taken with the framed poster on the wall (extra)
