Hello Scotland - Thistle Do Nicely

We travelled up to Edinburgh today, stopping off at Annandale Water Services for lunch. I love their spicy cauliflower Cornish pasties. These days I can't get there in time for socialising over lunch, which is a shame!

We had coffee at the Water of Leith Visitors' centre then had a walk along the riverbank until she finished work. There was no wildlife to be seen at all! We would have blipped a mallard, or even a sparrow had one obliged by appearing.

We sat on a bench and challenged each other to get a shot of an airborne thistle seeds. My best is in Extras.

We had our evening meal at The Stables restaurant at Morton Hall. Very nice.
