Niffler

Here I am, down in Edinburgh for a couple of days to see my daughter and her lovely rabbit Niffler as you can see in the photo.
The more observant among you will notice that he looks somewhat different from the last time I blipped him.
Niffler is only about a year old but a few weeks ago, my daughter noticed that he had a dark patch, not much larger than a pinhead, on one of his ears.
After taking him to the vet, he had a biopsy and it was a cancerous melanoma.
The decision was taken that his ear would have to be removed to lessen the chances of it spreading.
It has involved many visits to the vet and lots of TLC.
He’s a smashing rabbit and we really hope he makes a full recovery.
