Calibrated For Movement
The unmistakable profile of a tiny hummingbird at rest, in a river birch tree. I doubt I would have located her by listening for her calls alone. It was only after fortuitously following her flight path that eventually I was able to see her.
Movement in human vision probably evolved for very good reason, but for artistic endeavours I'm not sure it's a high priority, but useful in this case.
