Accepted

Today was good: I gave Django two pleasant walks, and in the morning I finally got down to some intensive programming once daughter L had left for her trip to Portugal. She'll see the French family on the way back to recommencing her studies in London, so doesn't know when she'll next be up here. But I'll have a trip to London this semester...

It was good to learn that my new PhD student has accepted his place and funding offers, and there was a little associated admin for me. Then it was back to programming, completing a satisfying and valuable sub-task of a larger development. 

A is out this evening, so I bought groceries on Django's evening walk - when the Town Hall was very prettily lit - and I've cooked for myself.
