Much Bindweed In The Grass

Lovely chat and little shopping trip to Hoddesdon with my daughter this morning. We're both sorry that she didn't come to see the cars with me last Sunday.

I really can't get over the fact that I have thousands of field bindweed flowers in my no mow summer grass but hardly any insects visiting them. This common spotted field syrph is one of the few I saw today.
