The Allan river - Dunblane

I had to go to Dunblane this afternoon and I took the chance to photograph the Allan river in flood. 
 
The weather can best be described as mercurial, violent rainstorm in the morning and brilliant sunshine in the afternoon.
 
Please excuse lack of comments, life is a bit hectic at present, since I am now chauffeur too since M can bend his leg enough to get in my car but is some way off driving himself.
 
We had local elections today and it was a friend who reminded me to get out and vote which I did for the Green councillor.  It’s the Green Party who have supported our campaign to save Park of Keir , the Greenbelt between Dunblane and Bridge of Allan, from development.
