Another Dahlia

Oh this is the time of year for Dahlias, isn't it? Another rain sprinkled (or spritzed!) beauty!

MrWK and I had a grand time last night. We had a lovely dinner at McMenamin's Rock Creek, a lot of talking and laughing. Patience, patience, gosh I adore that man. I do believe things will progress in due time.

I'm off to my book club meeting now...just across the driveway at the pool this afternoon. We read "The Dog Star" by Peter Heller. A curious post-apocalyptic book that I haven't yet managed to finish yet. I'll report in tomorrow!
