Christchurch and the War Memorial garden

We drove to Oxford to meet up with the in-laws to celebrate their diamond wedding anniversary.
They had received their anniversary card from the King and were thrilled with it.
We had a short wander up and down the high street and along the river back to our hotel - no time really to take photos but it looks to be a lovely city. We’ve not been before but I’d like to come back for a weekend.
Then, after an afternoon nap, we had a nice meal at the hotel. They made a nice fuss of the happy couple with chocolates, champagne and a lovely dessert so they felt quite special :)
