Coffee morning

With friends J & M in their beautiful apartment.  We sat out on the deck overlooking the ever changing view of the Stour estuary.  Loved their artwork, particularly the Puffin.  J produced coffee, biscuits, Madelaines and the most delicious gluten free brownies, hand made by the cook shop just up the road.  She rang them to see if they had any left, which they did so we wandered up later and bought some together with lovely local Strawberries and browsed the rest of the gorgeous shop. (I should like to return ..... alone!!)


We had a free afternoon and evening. Very welcome after a busy few days.  Mr HB has wrecked his shoulder after our enthusiastic games of Badminton, so we sat outside read, snoozed and I did some crochet then I cooked a chicken pasta dish followed by those lovely Strawberries   and a fairly early night.
