Old Town

Edinburgh Old Town boasts an abundance of interesting closes, ginnels, alleys, lanes, cut throughs and back courts. Well worth an explore. In warmer weather however many of them have a pervasive smell of pee, especially Waverly Steps. Don't let that put you off.
