When the Boat Comes in ….

… actually, it’s a ship (they carry boats).

We have had a great day on our first stop at Newcastle Upon Tyne. Going round Grainger Market, which has one of the original Marks & Spencer’s Penny Bazaar, which still operates as a stall (see extra).

We also went to the castle, which is not so new, being built in 1177.

Everyone is so friendly in this city too.

Heading back to Tynemouth to get back on the ship.
