229/366 Town Sign !

229/366   Town Sign ! Known locally as the “Spirit of Bridport” this sign was painted in 1981 by local signwriter George Biles (see 215/366 2nd August) it was displayed on the main road into town for over 30 years. I’m glad someone had the foresight to keep it when it was taken down due to its poor condition, now on display in Museum part of the month long George Biles exhibition.
