Abstract Thursday ...

... having abstract Fun.

And fun we had today, too!

Richard had read last week that the Blue Valley Farm Show was running this week so we went up there tonight.  But first we grabbed some sandwiches from our favorite deli and had a picnic supper at Jacobsburg State Park.

The fairgrounds aren't that far for Jacobsburg so it didn't take us long to get to the fair after our supper. We had fun walking through the fair before settling in to watch the evening's entertainment ... which was a band called The Large Flowerheads.  They play 1960's and '70's music and I've been wanting to see them in person for a while now.  They were very good and I would definitely go see them again if the opportunity is right.  

After listening to the band for a while we walked back through the midway as it was dark by then and I wanted to get some fun abstracts.  The rides were the perfect thing to try some slow shutter speed shots. Thanks to Ingeborg for hosting Abstract Thursday each week.

In other news ... as you know we get a lot of small birds visit our yard.  And as a result we also get some predators ... like the Cooper's Hawk I've posted to Facebook.  After getting a few shots I shooed him/her away.
