Mint moth

I was pleased to spot this mint moth on the catmint this afternoon because I haven’t seen one for a long time. It sat on the plant for ages, clearly enjoying being the subject of my photoshoot.

After I’d downloaded the photos I went back out into the garden to see if I could get some improved shots by using a smaller aperture, but I was out of luck because it had flown off to pastures new. Next time, maybe.
