Approaching the Bolt Hole
A blowy Autum day across in Hoy. Went across early for the AGM and Business Meeting of the Friends of the Hoy Kirk. It was not business as usual, with a mini-shake up of the committee. However it was good to have a guest appearance of our previous CEO who will be acting in an advisory capacity. I managed to take across my tools and carry out a minor repair on the exterior water tank. Went for lunch in the café where Martin Fleet was eating. Mince and tatties if you must know. Hettie was on the ferry, and Erland. In fact the return journey was a hoot with plenty of worthies.
For some reason best known to itself, the meeting today saw someone asking the Esperanto for sausage (kolbaso). Who knew ? Potentially only adherents of L L Zamenhof.
