Protecting power wires.

Our regional electricity company puts a  lot of effort into removing trees and branches which are in danger of bringing down overhead power cables in windy weather.

This Autumn they will be coming to take out a very large  old tree in our garden which is a danger to the supply. Fortunately it is done at no cost to us.
