WHO AM I?
This is an intricate, interesting insect - wish I knew exactly what kind it is. I'm quite sure it's a member of the grasshopper family because of the long back legs used for hopping. Its body looks like a coat armor, and his antennae are half again as long as the body (which wasn't quit an inch in length). It's a pretty green with golden legs. It doesn't have a pretty fact though - the mouth looks something like a claw - probably for gripping and chewing leaves. (One suggestion was a katydid, but they are leaf-like, and are usually all one color.) So, any ideas?
I'm back on the flower and insect circuit now for my blip subjects. No more horses for a while anyway! :-)
