Strange thing in the sky.

Since 2018, Western Gold Exploration Ltd (WGE) has been undertaking low impact mineral exploration across the Argyll and Bute region. The area has been of interest to several mineral exploration companies since the 1970’s.  

WGE are continuing this research via an Aerial Geophysical Survey which aims to identify potentially interesting geology and potential mineralization concealed beneath the surface. Airborne Geophysical Surveys are a common tool within the exploration industry used to identify large areas of rock concealed beneath soils and vegetation. This survey will build on results of a previous Aerial Survey flown over the area in 2013.
