SINGLE SCOOP

I was impressed by the generosity of the "single scoop" of blackcurrant ice cream I was given this afternoon. I bravely forced myself to eat it all.

A young swallow was looking for generous portions as well (extra). I guess it's part of a second brood getting fattened up quickly ready for the long journey south in a few weeks' time.

Thinking of my Mum today on what would have been her 96th birthday.
