Now that's what I call a picnic
Day 5 of our trek was a travel day from Potes to Zamora, over the Piedrasluengas Pass (1575m). The temperature was rising to 37 degrees so a picnic in the forest, prepared by our guides and served with cold beer or wine spritzer, was very welcome. Butterfly of the day was a Large Copper (see Andy's photo in extras). We arrived in time for a stroll around Zamora, a lovely old city on the Douro River, with more Romanesque churches than any other place in Europe.
