Farmstand thefts

I had arranged to meet my cousin Doug at Ruckle Park. On my way, I stopped to take a photo of a farmstand for a potential blip. I was interested to the see the sign, "By stealing from this property you give me permission to post all photos of you." There was a front-page article with the headline Farmstand thefts hit hard, say operators in our local newspaper that was delivered on Wednesday. Apparently some of the farmstand operators are scaling back because thieves are making off with cash and items for sale. There are more than 200 farmstands open during the summer. The RCMP are encouraging operators to report the thefts because apparently very few have. The farmstand in my photo does have a camera. What a shame that people can't be trusted.
Doug had come over to get a campsite for the weekend at Ruckle, but there were none available. Impy and their friends planned to come over later today. No luck. Maybe another time. Anyway, it's always great to have time with Doug. We had a good walk around Ruckle, caught up on what's been happening since we last saw each other, and he treated me to lunch at the Tree House. Gus was golfing.
