TRe-Birth

A wander around Plean Country Park this afternoon revealed this strange piece of Public Art. Not sure what the intentions were behind it, but there's a heavy Mother Nature vibe going on in there somewhere. What with the all the moss around the opening and the emerging head it reminds of the unintentionally scary films we were shown in Biology classes for Sex Education.

The disturbing feature here for me though is that it's most definitely an adult head (with an equally disturbing smug grin) squeezing its way out of the bark. :-/

After our walk, we bumped into a Community Group from Clackmannanshire who'd come to the park for a day out. They'd over-estimated the number of burgers and sausages they needed for their barbecue so kindly invited us to help ourselves to something. It would've been rude not to have accepted so we tucked in to some tasty grub and friendly banter, then immediatley followed this up with our own picnic that Samantha had prepared for our trip... was that being greedy?
