Golden Age

To the Golden Age, Paramount Pictures’ former screening theatrette, to see The Aviator’s Wife (France, 1981). It was a bit slow by today’s standards, beautifully made and very funny in parts. Also good to see so many location shots of an under-populated Paris.

The Hitchcockian figure in the doorway is checking names.

I was tempted but resisted an early afternoon cocktail.
