Here Comes the Sun this Morning..

My second son, Alex turned fifty today. Yesterday he posted an image of lunch at a cafe in Nelson saying it was his last day at age 49. Yes Alex….. it creeps up on us all. I hope you had a wonderful day with Hannah and friends.
My day was totally disrupted this afternoon when Maisie became very ill after being “off-colour” most of the morning. It meant an urgent trip to Vet Marlborough where she is staying overnight.. Vet Gaby is caring for her with IV fluids, antibiotic, blood screening etc. Maisie is in good hands. I will disclose her condition and its cause tomorrow. In the meantime my Gratitude for today:: is for the care being given to Maisie at Vet Marlborough.
