A Dash of Lyme

There are two of these high-speed RIBs at West Bay, Bridport, and one of them is called A Dash of Lyme.  It doesn't matter whether this is she, but they look like great fun.

Except . . . that they use an enormous amount of fuel in those huge engines and speed feels exciting only when you're close to something, so that you're whizzing past it (it was the same when flying: doing 600kts at 20, 000ft was just a number, whereas at 200ft it was an exciting hurtle!).
I've concluded that fast boats must have a very short span of excitement, therefore, and it's a good thing that I have no chance of affording one.
