Something's Kicking Off

I don't know where today has gone really. Admittedly we got up rather late and I did spend two hours watching Pompey miss out on three points against ten man Luton, drawing 0-0 in the end, a 12:30 kick off.

I have spent a lot of time catching up on blip too, though I enjoy keeping up with what has been going on in the lives of the people I follow.

This morning I got my blip when I went out in the garden to find out what was making all the noise. A police helicopter was going around in circles above our house, eventually hovering for ages nearby. Something was kicking off. Somebody on the local Facebook page said they were chasing  'a guy with a gun' though I doubt that as it surely would have made the national news. I was pointing my long lens towards it though, so maybe ....

Need to pack soon as we are off to London tomorrow to see our daughters again, to see Mitski at the All Points East festival, and then for some other birthday related happenings for daughter#2. Cameras are only allowed 'at the discretion of security' at the festival so I think I may just take my phone with me, and catch up when we get back home on Tuesday.

This year they have Johnny Marr, Snow Patrol, Ash, Natasha Bedingfield, Scouting For Girls, and many others that I don't recognise. I've heard of more acts this year but I would be hard pressed to name any of their work.
