Visiting Admiral

I was enjoying a coffee in the garden when this Red Admiral appeared and started feeding right next to me. Luckily I was able to fire off a couple of shots before it flew away. I wasn't sure which to use so the other appears as an extra. Another day of contrasts with a pleasantly warm morning  with sunny spells giving way to a thick overcast  for the remainder of the day.  Rain threatened but never arrived, so the grass was cut  and weedkiller applied selectively.
