A moment in time

St. Andrews. Fife

We were in St. Andrews, Fife today for the first time in years.  We had a good walk at the harbour and along the coast, and then had coffee up in the town.  It was dull but warm and a little windy but most pleasant and very busy with day trippers and tourists.  It is such a lovely town with beautiful old stonework, a pleasure to look around.  The abbey and the castle are all worth looking at too.  I took a lot of photos so have made a collage of some of them.

We then headed down the coastal road to Anstruther and had fish'n'chips takeaway at the Anstruther Fish Bar, famous around these parts for the best and freshest fish. (The fisherman is from there)

I love Fife!
