One last hot walk
A short walk around a dis-used airfield, watching for raptors circling over the garrigue, described as the open shrubby vegetation of dry Mediterranean regions with spiny or aromatic shrubs interspersed with colourful ephemeral species - this one is Cupid's Dart, Catananche caerulea. Then back into the minibuses for the drive back to Santander and the ferry back home.
