Full On
That was quite a day.
It kicked off with a 7am (light) breakfast before I jumped on a local bus to take me to Aberdeen Parkrun (on the Beach Boulevard starting at Bridge of Don, for those who know the city).
The course is flat, being right by the sea. My body was confused by the lack of hills, and I ran quite well.
After a modest brunch and a quick pint, and a modest lunch followed by another quick pint, I parked myself at the football for a couple of hours - Aberdeen v Queen's Park in the League Cup.
We lost 0-1 with Aberdeen's goal coming in the 2nd minute of stoppage time, just when we thought a penalty shoot out was about to happen. Oh well.
But it was an excellent match and worth the effort to get there.
Megabus whisked me home after the football, on time and in comfort for the modest cost of £1.
The Blip is what I saw from the window when I got up this morning. A lovely start. The Extra is a message I noticed as I meandered between pubs and cafes around lunchtime.
Seems about right.
