Golitha falls

Cloudy weather today with a few breaks in the cloud occasionally! He left about 9.30 to drive to Saltash to pick up Patricia and dive to Golitha falls. It is on the river Fowey and not a classical waterfall but it is situated in a beautiful beech wood and has a very peaceful atmosphere. The parking is quite restricted and the cafe is very busy, but they are let down by the loos which are undergoing renovations and so there are portacabins which are truly disgusting!

We went to the Crooked Inn on the way back to Saltash for lunch. My first task was to go to the very acceptable loos to wash my hands! We both had Caesar salad wraps, very tasty and filling so didn’t need much this evening. Went to the flat and walked at devils point on the way home and then fed Flo and took the bus to the Devonshire for a swim. Felt so much better after doing the exercise!
