Collared?

This little Hummingbird has been buzzing around the flowers in our back yard. I have never noticed one with such a wide white collar.

Today we woke up to rain...not a big problem for us since we are kind of Home-bodies anyway...evidently not a problem for the visiting family since they left for an adventure at Oswell West Park. They walked in on the rustic trail to the beach of a beautiful cove. It isn't an easy hike, but it is beautiful and unique sight on the Oregon Coast of an isolated cove. They will be back for dinner where we will have leftovers from last night dinner and a fresh salad. We buy baby greens from a local Hot House farmer; they are especially flavorful.

Now I will rest for a while before everyone gets back here this evening.
