I was excited to go to Emma's first ever parkrun. It was a beautiful location too.
We asked a fellow parkrunner to take a picture by the sign but it was so out of focus that the sign was unreadable. Fortunately we had backups. We chatted to a group of ladies who'd traveled down from Newcastle to see Mrs.Doubtfire show and the Harry Potter experience. They suggested New Biggin and Blythe parkruns were good ones to add to my lost of places to visit. Afterwards we went to Emma's flat as she had made a cake and scones for us to enjoy.
We had planned to have a walk to town but whilst drinking iced coffeenand eating the homebakes, Emma managed to buy some Taylor Swift tickets for her and her work friends so after finishing my cake, I left her to get ready for that and headed home.
MrRIU and I went out for a drive and sat in a couple of pub gardens before choosing one for dinner.
