Knee replacement op

Got a taxi to Dorset County Hospital for 7am for my knee replacement operation.Lots of checks, paperwork and consultations with the team. I was done second at 11am. I was delighted they gave me the choice of General Anaesthetic and I woke up feeling as if I had a great sleep. All went well and they had me up and walking quickly. A was able to be with me all afternoon and Jenny came later. I could have gone home that evening but opted for a night in hospital to more fully recover.
