Night at the bottom of Fuji

At midnight, around 1000m of ascent into our climb, we arrive at the car park which is the normal starting point of the Gotemba Trail up Mt. Fuji. 2000m of vertical ascent to go, with the prospect of a foil-and-binbag bivy for an hour or too at some point later in the night. Great stuff!
