Dump & Run
Well, not quite. :-))
We wanted to head down to my brothers and SIL’s as soon as we could really. But Elbows needed to work this morning so I sorted the dogs and sorted MightyMouse for tomorrow. He’s having such a great summer. But he’s missing time with the dogs too, sweetly.
Elbows and I also needed to take a full car load of rubbish from TSCC to the dump and then visit our friend’s house to collect more things from their garage. I’m finding the imminent departure of these friends sad and hard to compute. :-(
Having said goodbye to our house guests this morning, who are staying on at ours for a couple of days, we grabbed some lunch before setting off for Eastbourne, arriving at about 5pm.
We love being here. It’s super dog friendly and we love Phil and Sue very much. They are amazing hosts, love cooking and creating and have an empty nest. Their 4 boys are all grown wonderful men … and 3 of them are married.
Phil is the brother next to me in the family. We’ve shared a lot over the years and have kindred hearts. He and Sue are just fab.
There are 5 of us siblings - I know God has blessed us and preserved us through thick and thin. There’s been lots of thick and lots of thin.
