Galston Gorge

This McDonald Truss Bridge is at the lowest point of the road traversing Galston Gorge, where it crosses Pearce's Creek. Built in 1893, it is still able to carry modern traffic, although the hairpins on the approach mean that only light vehicles have access. It's a great place to imagine the early days of settlement in this area.
