Concarneau

We took the small ferry across the channel into the walled town.  Straight away we sat and enjoyed a circus act, for free inside the ramparts.  I love this about France, there is always something happening. 
We wandered around the very pretty town at our leisure spending a nice couple of hours with plenty of people watching. 
The world's first ever maritime  biology laboratory was set up in this town.  It is a base for a lot of marine, sailing and fishing. 
The higgledypiggledy campsite is a little more attractive in drier weather.
