I have a feeling this stone may be a memorial to someone. If so, it’s in a beautiful spot on the moorland/heathland above Zennor. This seems like ancient, unchanged land but it’s seen farming, mining and more.

A great day for a walk and a ponder. Back to reality tomorrow and planning for the new school year ahead.

We stopped at a horse box cum coffee stall in a field, on the way back. Black Bull coffee serves delicious double espressos, even though post midday imbibing is reckless!
