Battle of the Fruit Flies

It started with a mahoosive food shop. We seemed to be short of everything.
When I arrived home, the workmen were cracking on with the solar battery installation.
There were fruit flies everywhere. Tom had opened the compost bin, it sits under the kitchen window, 1000’s of FF flew out and into the house. It was like a plague.
After we put away the shopping I swatted as many as I could. Tom used fly spray, I stayed away for that bit. I put a couple of pots with sugar water in to try and trap them.
The workmen did a cracking job and were done in about 5 hours. I now have an app that shows me what my panels are making, how much is in or out of the battery and how much is going to and from the grid. I can’t believe how excited I am about the flow of electricity!
