Gap Site

Growing up in Edinburgh was to live with a series of increasingly infamous gap sites. On Castle Terrace the hole in the ground earmarked for a never-built 'opera house' was almost as famous as the Annual Festival it was meant to serve. 

At the back of St Andrew Square, behind the RBS headquarters in Dundas House, this new gap site is intended to provide Edinburgh with a new concert hall and a home for the Scottish Chamber Orchestra.

We shall watch with interest.
