Seeing Red

Day two of the village festival
After going for breakfast at Moss and Moor Elaine and l went to look at the vintage cars on display at the cricket club.
A few hundred all neatly parked up so lots to see as usual.
So many to take photographs of l decided just to do red this year and make a collage. Hope the car enthusiast among you enjoy them.
Then we had a look at all the food stalls but didn’t buy. We then looked at the craft fair and the vintage fair before returning back to mine.
I packed us a bottle of Prosecco, a couple of glasses, nuts, olives, cheese, hummus and breadsticks.
We carried two picnic chairs and a little table over to our little park where the Anchor Band played for two hours. Lots of families had brought picnic blankets and food.  Some people danced on the grass, the atmosphere was lovely people across the generations all just enjoying the occasion. Me included.

Saw another two very good entries for the scarecrow competition, l loved the mermaid’s headdress and the boy fishing.
