Kagyu Samye Ling

We visited this wonderful Tibetan Buddhist Monastery near Eskdalemuir in the Scottish Borders.
I’ve been before but Tom hadn’t. It’s a very peaceful place with lots of beautiful gardens, ponds and statues. The temple is huge, ornately and very colourful in its decoration.
You can go in as long as you take your shoes off and don’t speak,
We had simple refreshments in the cafe before visiting the shop. Tom bought a blue colourful hippy hoodie.
It’s a working Monestary with monks doing their thing. You can stay overnight and they do retreats too.
