Jubilee Tower

Caught CHA coach to Lancashire for a walk that took in Jubilee Tower built to commemorate Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee and overlooks Darwin - also celebrates the victory of local people for right to access the moor which was opened to the public in 1898

The walk from Dimples to Darwen not only took in the Tower but sights in extra as we traversed a 9 mile route that took Wilton Weavers Way - Delph Reservoir - Turton Moor - Dimples Moor and Darwen Hill - refreshment was partaken before returning back on coach to Yorkshire
