Loch an Eilan

We had a lovely walk round loch an Roland today with Linda, Paul and Ollie. The dogs loved being able to bound around off the path in the heather and paddle in the water.

We’d both taken sandwiches and were lucky to find an empty picnic bench beside the gift shop. We didn’t linger too ok g as once the wind dropped, the pesky midgies were out in force. We parted around 3 with plans to meet for another walk in the morning.

A few hours relaxing back at the caravan meant I lost the will to cook so we managed to book a table at a pub in Aviemore. A lovely meal and home by 10.
