231/366 18th Aug Torchlight !  As is tradition Bridport Carnival always ends with a torchlight procession from the Town Hall to West Bay (approx. 2 miles). Well over three thousand make the walk most with flaming torches that are thrown onto a giant bonfire on the beach, a firework display follows to end the event.
