Celebrating Robin.

Well that was an amazing event.   Many friends and family gathered  under the tent to share stories and memories of their relationship with Robin.  It was so wonderful to hear about her life before i knew her (16 years ago) and to listen to the way Robin touched so many people.   She was indeed a very generous and loving person, with lots of challenges - but what was most evident was the love everyone shared for her!   Lots of people got up to speak and we even had one of the guests, Mat, play the guitar and sing one of the songs that we all associated with Robin...The Weight, by the Band!   So many memories of music nights here at Big Hill - and lots of laughter and of course some tears!

Here are Robins immediate family:  L - R;  Tammy (her younger sister), Rachel, her youngest offspring, Meredeth, her oldest sister, Jessica, the middle child, and Randy, the oldest!  After the ceremony under the tent we all gathered down by the pond to watch the planting of some beautiful plants which were put into the ground on top of some of her ashes!   So beautiful!

Lots of amazing food of course and lots of wonderful conversations.

I headed to bed feeling relieved that the next day we didn't have to think about anything that needed to be done....and i feel asleep with a deep and profound feeling of love - just so much love shared for this woman!
